Your Christmas Reading List

It’s almost December and that means the holidays are close. One of the things I absolutely love about holidays is that I have more time to do things I love like reading, catching up with friends and play video games. While playing video games is fun I tend to spend more time reading books. Here are ten books you should read during the holiday:

  1. The Lonely City by Olivia Laing: I found this book fascinating.
  2. FEAR by Thich Nhat Hanh: An essential book to understand what fear is and how through mindfulness we in a way can master fear and embrace life.
  3. Nothing to Envy by Barbara Demick: Through Barbara’s incredible storytelling you can understand and feel in a way what it means to live in North Korea.
  4. The power of habit by Charles Duhigg: It’s all about habits.
  5. Failing up by Leslie Odom, Jr: I was looking forward to reading this book for a long time and it didn’t disappoint me. To say that I was inspired by this book will be an understatement.
  6. Men Explain Things To Me by Rebecca Solnit: A must read especially for men.
  7. How to relax by Thich Nhat Hanh: A pocket-size guide about how to relax. I always carry this book with me from time to time and read it over and over again.
  8. Factfulness by Hans Rosling: One of the most important books I read in my entire life.
  9. Talking as fast as I can by Lauren Graham: I’m a huge fan of Gilmore Girls and Lauren Graham.
  10. Deep Work by Cal Newport: A must-read for people who are working in big organizations and in general for people in the tech industry.
